I'm Sarah.  This blog, like me, is kind of all over the place.  A little bit of this, a little bit of that.  Basically it chronicles my life and my interests:  homeschooling and parenting, clean eating, sewing, photography and art, living slow, graphic design, music, growing my faith, home decor... and anything else that might catch my fancy!

Lost time

"The days are long but the years are short."

I've heard this saying- and its variations- a lot.  How true.  I think back a month... Hawaii seems like years ago, but what has happened in the meantime?  Time is flying, yet each day seems to last forever.  And what is filling that time?

Sometimes I think back to my first blog, started in 2007, lasting only a couple of months.  Sometimes I wish that I would have kept at it consistently.  It would be a trip to look back over my life and times back then, and how different they are from now!

I waiver back and forth in this whole blogging thing.  Why am I doing it?  To sell something?  To keep friends and family up-to-date?  To give others ideas or instruction?

I think I'm finally figuring it out.  I want a record for myself.  To see where I've been, where I (think) I'm going, remember the little things that slip my mind.  Mainly for myself and my family.  But if anyone else wants to know, that's great too.
